Accommodation
Calella
Since many of you are traveling quite a distance, we wanted to invite you to spend the whole weekend with us on the beautiful Spanish coast so we have plenty of time together.
Calella, a small town in the Maresme coastal region, is just 10 minutes by car from the wedding venue — the perfect spot to relax and celebrate together. It’s also just 20 minutes from the famous Costa Brava for those who want to extend their visit and enjoy some of the best beaches and views Spain has to offer.
We’ll be staying in Hotel Kaktus Playa from Friday to Monday and would love for you to join us there! If you book through their website, you can use the promo code JOHANNAYLUIS for a 5% discount.
Of course, we know everyone has their own budget and preferences — the good news is, Calella is small and everything’s close by. We’ve put together a list of alternative accommodations you can check out here:
We hope you can make it!

FAQs
What time should I arrive? The reception starts at 16:00. Please make sure to arrive on time — the ceremony will start at 17:00 straight. Remember, we Austrians take punctuality very seriously ;-)
Is there Parking near by? Yes, the venue has private parking.
What about transportation? For those who don’t have their own (rental) car, we’ll arrange a shuttle to and from the venue. To do so, we need to know the exact number of people and whether you need transportation from Barcelona or Calella. Please let us know in the RSVP form until 31.01.2026.
Can I bring a date? Due to limited space and budget, we’re only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. Thank you so much for your understanding!
Should I bring gifts? All we want is for you to be there at our special day. If you would still like to make a contribution, you can find the infos here.
Will there be an open bar? Yes, drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! - Get ready to celebrate.
Will there be assigned seating for the dinner? Not this time! It’s part of the Venezuelan flair — just sit with whoever you like.
Is there a dress code? Dress code is cocktail attire. We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Dirndl und Lederhosen sind natürlich auch willkommen!
Which shoes are more suitable? Our celebration will hopefully take place outdoors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Please keep in mind that there’s grass around the venue, so we don’t recommend Dagger/Stiletto heels.
More information will follow soon!
